PREPRUFE - high performance, fully adhered, pre-applied waterproofing system for critical below-grade applications.
PREPRUFE® utilizes GCP's Advanced Bond Technology to create a continuous, integral and permanent adhesive bond to concrete. Leaks from groundwater, storm water runoff or irrigation water may impact the foundation of any building that's improperly waterproofed — and when concrete is involved, there any number of ways that water can travel into and around a structure.
PREPRUFE® 300R Membrane — heavy-duty 1.2mm grade membrane designed for horizontal and vertical use. Designed for use below slabs and on rafts (i.e. mud slabs) and for vertical blindside applications. Designed to accept the placing of heavy reinforcement using conventional concrete spacers
PREPRUFE® 160R Membrane — standard 0.8mm grade Membrane designed for vertical use in blindside, zero property line applications against soil retention systems. PREPRUFE® 160R Membrane is for vertical use only.

BITUTHENE is available in a number of grades to suit your project needs. Supplied as an easily-applied sheet, It can be cold-applied at temperatures as low as -3.88 °C, and can be placed on a variety of concrete surfaces. Its robust waterproofing properties, combined with its ease of application, results in a contractor-friendly product that adds value to buildings.
Bituthene 3000 is a self-adhesive, rubberised asphalt/polyethylene waterproofing membrane for basements, and other subterranean applications.
Bituthene 5000 is a heavy duty, self-adhesive waterproofing material incorporating high strength, heat-resistant mesh embedded in layer of self-adhesive rubberised asphalt. It is specially developed for use under hot applied asphalt concrete wearing course.
Ancillary Products
Bituthene Liquid Membrane - a two component, elastomeric, liquid-applied detailing compound for use in conjunction with Bituthene 3000. It is important that this product is mixed correctly. Especially in colder temperatures, this task should not be underestimated. Detailing is very important as it is typically at vulnerable points in the prevention of water ingress.
Bituthene Mastic - for detailing Bituthene 5000.
Remember to test the substrate for moisture content prior to priming. There are two different primers which underscores the importance of this step.
Bituthene Solvent Primer - bitumen-based primer use to prime dry structural concrete and masonry surfaces with moisture content below 5%.
Bituthene Primer Type C - VOC-free and non-hazardous primer. It takes longer to dry relative to the solvent primer, but can be used on substrates that exceed the maximum 5% moisture content (limit for Bituthene Solvent Primer). The moisture content of the substrate must be below 10% to use the Bituthene Primer Type C.
Swellseal Mastic - caulk applied, one component, hydro-swelling mastic for sealing construction joint and pipe penetrations.

- Job site conditions such as dust can spoil the adhesion of membrane to concrete and prevent a system from performing as designed
- Imperfections, voids and cracks in concrete can create a pathway for water to migrate in and around a structure.
