Waterproofing Membranes
Tamsi Premium Prime- is a solvent free, fast drying multipurpose primer designed to be used on non-porous, smooth substrates prior to application of Tamsi membranes. It has superior penetration as well as a high degree of adhesion to dense smooth substrates, including compressed cement sheet, concrete, hard plastics and metals. Tamsi PREMIUM-PRIME is an alternative to using a 2-part epoxy primer saving time and cost.
Tamsi Barrier PU- is an advanced elastomeric polyurethane membrane containing high quality resin and fibers designed to be used in both under tile and exposed areas.
Tamsi Easy Prime- a water based, fast drying, general purpose primer designed to be used over porous building surfaces prior to application of Tamsi membranes to provide a strong adhesion to the substrate.
Tamsi Protect LX- a flexible and elastomeric liquid rubber membrane designed for waterproofing wet areas, showers, balconies and decks that will be covered over with toppings and/or tiles
Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM)
KIM is a waterproofing admixture for concrete. If you are building a new concrete structure, for example slabs and walls for below grade parking/basements, swimming pools, pits, or similar applications subject to water pressure, you can add KIM to the concrete mix. By improving the impermeability of the concrete, you can protect against moisture transmission, chemical attack, and the corrosion of reinforcing steel.
Krystol T1 & T2
Utilitising the same crystalline growth technology as KIM, Krystol T1 & T2 are surface applied treatments to existing concrete structures. The product is mixed with potable water into a slurry and applied by brush. In general, the first coat is using T1 and the subsequent coat utilises T2.
Krystol Baricote
Baricote is a surface applied treatment for concrete that has cracks, holes or joints that are leaking. It can also be used as a waterproof plaster on masonry walls. Krystol Plug
This is a very fast setting hydraulic cement for plugging actively leaking cracks. Generally the process involves chasing out the leaking crack, mixing the Krystol Plug with potable water to form a plasticine or putty consistency, and pushing this into the crack. It sets very quickly so that it is not washed out by the water flow.
Polyglass Plana P
Plana P is an extremely versatile waterproofing membrane, suitable for most concrete, masonry, metal civil and industrial structures. There are two types of Plana P (Plana P and Plana P Mineral) which comprise a bitumen compound modified with polypropylene and a non-woven polyester reinforcing fabric. They are applied by propane gas torch by flaming the polyethylene film on the underside. The Plana P Mineral has a layer of slate chip, and thus have a lateral and endlap sealing strip to facilitate proper overlapping during installation.
Polyglass Spider P
Spider P is available as Spider P and Spider P Mineral. It is a self-adhesive waterproofing membrane system, comprising bitumen, a polyester staple fibre and reinforcing glass strands. To install you peel away the film from the underside of the roll. This product is not suitable for applications exposed to UV.
